The "Croccantino" is an historical product born in 1891 from an idea of the Cavalier Innocenzo Borrillo who, after working for twenty years in a famous pastry shop in Naples, decided to return in San Marco dei Cavoti to put into practice the secrets that he have learned and to propose a product of its own. Thanks to him, the famous Croccantino was created. It is a simple bar of hazelnuts, almonds and sugar coated with dark chocolate. It gives a smile at every taste! The Nougat, which has as basis a crunchy formed by almonds and hazelnuts, is one of the "Dolciaria Borrillo" leading product. First of all the nougat is processed at high temperatures, than it is stretched, cut into sticks and covered with a layer of dark chocolate and ,finally,it is individually wrapped to preserve its freshness.
